LIFE AT THE FARM

A little introduction to our alpaca neighbours

One of the things that makes our farmhouse stay different is getting to see these curious animals in the nearby paddocks.

Alpacas have a way of catching your attention. Perhaps it’s the hairstyles or the way they watch absolutely everything with such curiosity. At The Greens, our resident animals are part of the countryside atmosphere.

The joy of spotting them

You may see the herd grazing, wandering or watching from the paddock. A glimpse of a fluffy face can be enough to make anyone smile.

Keeping things calm

Our alpacas are not a petting attraction. Please enjoy watching them at a distance, remain outside the paddocks and never touch or feed them. This keeps the experience comfortable for both animals and people.

More than the animals

A stay here also means fresh air, space to relax and easy access to the beautiful surrounding countryside. Browse the alpaca page or our full gallery to see more.
