BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT

A little practical advice.

Bring suitable footwear, dress for Lancashire weather and check route details, daylight and accessibility before heading off. The Terraced Gardens have steep and uneven pathways and are not generally suitable for standard wheelchairs or pushchairs.

If you’re exploring with children, choose a route to match their abilities and keep everyone close to you around water and steep ground.
